Hi!
My name is Danielle Gilbert and I am the president of the California Xi chapter of Tau Beta Pi. I am studying aerospace
engineering and will be graduating in May of 2011. I am originally from Denver,
Colorado and grew up snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. In addition to Tau Beta Pi,
I am also the President of Sigma Gamma Tau, the Aerospace Engineering Honor Society.
I have also been an intern at United Launch Alliance for the last two years. In my free time
I enjoy kickboxing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, going to the beach, and hanging out with my friends
and my boyfriend.
Please feel free to contact me or any of the other officers with any questions you might have about Tau Beta Pi, we will be happy to answer them.
My name is Benjamin Pochop and I am Vice-President of Tau Beta Pi CA-Xi. I
am a Senior in Aerospace Engineering and will be graduating in May. When
I'm not busy at school I enjoy reading, relaxing and Legos. After
graduation I hope to obtain a position in the space or defense industry.
Hi, I'm Paige and I'm a third year Environmental Engineering student and the Recording Secretary
for Tau Beta Pi. As well as engineering, I am also pursuing a minor in German to further my travels
in Germany. In my free time, I frequently volunteer to take care of cats. I love to read, take pictures,
play piano, and travel. I also love PiƱa Coladas and getting caught in the rain.
I look foward to being an officer for the upcoming candidates and members as well as being part of the Tau beta pi team
I am a Civil Engineering major studying to become a structural engineer. Along with becoming Treasurer
of Tau Beta Pi, I am the Vice President of the American Society of Civil Engineers SDSU Student Chapter.
I was born and raised in the small town of Bishop, CA (near Mammoth Mountain) and moved to San Diego in
my high school years. In my free time I enjoy surfing, playing volleyball, golfing, listening to music,
hanging out with friends, and laughing! When I graduate, I plan on attending graduate school at either
UC Berkley, Stanford, or UCSD to work toward a Masters of Science in Structural Engineering.
My name is Adalberto Tapia. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
I was born and raised in San Diego. I am the corresponding secretary for Tau Beta Pi, and I was initiated in Spring 2009. When I am not studying, I am with
my daughter and fiance.
Hello, my name is Levi Lentz and I am a second-year Mechanical Enginering student. I am also
a San Diego native. This is my first year with Tau Beta Pi and I am their official unofficial webmaster. You have probably seen me all around campus as I am
extremely involved with several different organizations. I am also have a very active lifestyle and my favorite hobbies are snowboarding, freebording (YouTube it) as well as any sort
of programming (hence my interest in being a webmaster for TBP). This is
in addition to the volunteering I do with Professor Miller in his Solar Energy Lab and the work I do with Professor Impelluso.
If you are in any of my classes, you will probably know it as all of the professors know me because of my position as a Domain Administrator with the College of Engineering.
I hope to see you in my classes; education is my number one priority.
